We like to believe that we are ready to use these IoT services but how is development in the supporting industries progressing?

Zacks Investment research on 3 “Internet of Things” Stocks to Buy Right Now is recommending taking stocks in IoT supporting industries. Chip manufacturers are specifically being singled out as business seems to be booming (especially for those enabling the platforms for all those IoT enabled devices being produced).

What about other supporting industries such as Internet Service Providers (and vendors). The revenue sharing business model will become more dominant for the businesses providing the connectivity for IoT. This will significantly increase the pressure (doubling, quadrupling or multiply the load) on their IT systems that now need to support more and more real-time processing?  Is there a truly out of the box telco platform that provide all that is required by the service providers without having to completely re-engineer their current IT?

The company who provides a truly scalable platform will be winner. The ones that can provided this as managed service even more so.
